Will the tour be canceled or merged after registration?

The threshold for tour formation, the latest notification date, and the terms of refund and change are all clearly stated in the contract and communicated in advance. However, at present, most of the products are 4-person tours, and some of the routes even offer good conditions for 2-person departures in order to give back; and there is no indiscriminate grouping, so the rate of success is extremely high.

Are the tour guides experienced and able to take care of the elders?

All tour guides are licensed, experienced in receiving foreign guests, and familiar with the rhythms of the elders (medication reminders, frequency of breaks, and barrier-free routes). Experienced tour guides can be assigned upon request.

Will the meals on the tour be Chinese?

Most of the tours adopt the flexible semi-buffet design, which does not include lunch and dinner, to return the right to choose to the travelers. When you are in a hurry, the tour guide can make the order on behalf of the traveler and inform the traveler for reference; for the rest of the trip, we encourage you to choose your own local food (Tibetan food, rice noodles, halal, etc.), which is closer to your personal taste and budget. Do not let the journey is the same boring group meal nightmare!

Will the itinerary accommodation be "downgraded"?

Reservations are made in accordance with the contract level and will not be downgraded. In case of full booking during peak season, we will replace the booking with one of the same class or upgraded class and inform you in advance to protect your rights and interests.

Will the ride be long? Are there restroom breaks on the way?

For long distances, rest stops will be properly arranged; however, for remote or desert sections, there are limited facilities, and you may even have to go to the toilet on the side of the road! It is advisable to be prepared before traveling. The tour guide will try his best to select the best rest stops.

Are local specialty meals included?

Most of the products do not include lunch and dinner; some of the tours arrange special experiences (e.g. afternoon tea at Potala Palace for Tibet tours, afternoon tea with imitation food in Beijing, etc.). You can also check on the internet in advance, or ask your guide to recommend local restaurants or help you order takeout.

If I am a vegetarian or don't eat cows or goats, can I make arrangements?

Yes. Specify vegetarian or non-vegetarian ingredients when signing up and coordinate with the restaurant before departure; Halal or vegetarian friendly options are also available in many locations.

Will there be too many shopping stops on the trip?

We offer high quality "No Shopping" tours (except for the self-operated stores in the scenic area). In case of non-compliance, in addition to a full refund, we will also compensate RMB 2,000 as liquidated damages.

How much deposit do I need to pay to enroll?

General RMB1,000 per person; depending on the prepaid resources for special routes, the tour fee for some special programs may be 20%-30%. Based on the quotation/contract.

Can I pay by credit card?

Mainstream credit cards can be used, and we also support remittance and some electronic payments. Cross-border fees will be clearly indicated on the bill; we also recommend using Alipay/WeChat to bind a credit card for payment, which will be more convenient.

What about exchange rate issues?

Based on the bank's announcement or Goldstream's settlement on the day of receipt; the quotation currency, conversion basis and handling fee will be clearly disclosed in the quotation.

What are the refund rules in case of temporary cancellation?

According to the travel contract: 5% for more than 41 days before departure date; 10% for 31-40 days; 20% for 21-30 days; 30% for 2-20 days; 50% for the first 1 day; and 100% for the day after the departure date (If the traveler has already applied for the special resources such as the Tibet letter, the Tibet exclusive contract shall prevail). (If you have applied for special resources such as the Tibet Entry Letter, the Tibet-specific contract will apply.)

Will bottled water be provided?

Bottled mineral water will be provided. If you are accustomed to drinking hot water, it is recommended that you bring your own thermos; some scenic spots and most restaurants have hot water refills.

Are tips included?

Tips are usually not included. Suggested reference: RMB30 per person per day for driver and tour guide (total RMB60) x number of days; actual product description is subject to change.

How long before departure will the group be confirmed?

In principle, a tour can be formed by 4 persons; if the threshold is not reached 50 days before departure, we will take the initiative to discuss with you about rescheduling, transferring the tour or other options.

Are shuttle buses included in the itinerary?

The itinerary will state whether or not transfers are included. If "Arrive at a certain place" is arranged on the first day, it means that airport/station transfers are included on that day; other transfers can be purchased upon request.

Is Wi-Fi or Internet access card available?

Wi-Fi is available in most hotels, some scenic spots and restaurants, and depending on the internet environment, it is recommended to bring your own foreign internet plan or SIM card that can be used for LINE/WhatsApp/Google. Only then can you access your customary Google, which is also an extranet.

Is there any special care for the elderly?

The pace and rest density can be adjusted according to the needs of seniors; those who meet the qualifications of the scenic area's senior citizen ticket will be refunded according to the regulations. As long as the scenic area is equipped, wheelchair and barrier-free route suggestions and other services can be booked.

What are the fees for children?

There are two types of programs: "bed share" and "no bed share"; car parking is one person per car. Discuss with your specialist to find the best match for your needs and budget.

Is insurance included?

Local travel agency liability insurance and vehicle seat insurance are included; when traveling to Tibet and other high-altitude areas, plateau protection insurance (RMB 500,000) is exclusively included. For details, please refer to the product description.

Is the team leader accompanied throughout the journey from the departure point?

Generally speaking, casual tours do not have a tour leader at the departure point, but we will set up a pre-trip group and provide detailed guidance; as long as the pick-up is within the itinerary, we will arrange for pick-up. If there is a need for an out-of-tour flight, you can purchase an additional flight or ask for advice on how to make your own arrangements.
