Upon arrival in Nyingchi, which has an average elevation of about 3,000 meters, you’ll find one of Tibet’s lowest-elevation and mildest-climate regions—making it an ideal first stop on your journey to Tibet to allow your body to gradually acclimate and reduce the risk of altitude sickness. After being met by your dedicated tour guide at the airport, you’ll head straight to today’s highlight—Gala Peach Blossom Village. As you walk into the village, you’ll be greeted by a sea of pink blossoms; the peach blossoms covering the hills and fields, set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains, create an exceptionally romantic scene. Hailed as “Tibet’s calling card of spring,” the village boasts a brief blooming season each year—yet it is enough to captivate the heart. As the petals drift gently in the breeze, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a poetic painting.

At an altitude of only about 3,000 meters, it is the ideal first stop on the journey to Tibet, giving your body time to acclimate and significantly reducing the likelihood of altitude sickness.
➤ Gala Peach Blossom Village 🌸
Tibet's most representative of the peach blossom viewing place, every April, pieces of peach forest bloom, pink and white flowers and the distant snow-capped mountains, blue sky. This is not only a paradise for photography enthusiasts, but also a sea of auspicious flowers in the hearts of Tibetans.

★ Travel Tips:
On your first day of arrival, take it easy and avoid running or jumping. Drink plenty of warm water, avoid alcohol and smoking, and refrain from washing your hair or taking a shower to help your body adjust to the high-altitude conditions.

After crossing the Sejiila Pass, we stood at the highest vantage point at an elevation of 4,728 meters and gazed out at Mount Namcha Barwa.This massive peak, known as “China’s Most Beautiful Snow-Capped Mountain,”Shrouded in clouds and mist year-round, on a clear day its sharp peak—which pierces the sky like a sword—suddenly comes into view, creating a breathtaking sight. Next, head to the Lulang Forest Sea Viewing Platform to look out over the vast sea of forests and meadows. With layers of emerald-green spruce and pine groves nestled among snow-capped mountains, this area is hailed as the “Little Switzerland of Tibet” and is an excellent spot to admire the idyllic highland scenery.

➤ Sekiila Pass
At an altitude of 4,728 meters, it is the best place to see Namcha Barwa. In the morning or dusk, the snow-capped peaks are colored by golden light, and the mountains look like burning giants.

▶ Lulang Forest Viewpoint
From a high vantage point, one can gaze down upon the pastoral landscapes of Lulang, where forests, meadows, and snow-capped mountains intertwine in layer upon layer, creating a vast and magnificent vista that is hailed as one of Tibet’s most beautiful highland pastoral landscapes.

★A Friendly Reminder: Mount Namcha Barwa is often called the “Shy Girl Peak” because it is usually shrouded in clouds and mist. If you’re lucky enough to encounter clear weather, you’ll be able to see its breathtaking true beauty.

Within Bomi County, the canyons gradually unfold along the way, and the Bodui Peach Blossom Valley is nestled among them. Compared to the tourist hotspots near Nyingchi, the peach groves here retain a more pristine and untamed quality. Tibetan villages are scattered among the canyons and snow-capped peaks, rarely disturbed by visitors, making this a hidden peach blossom paradise where one can truly experience authentic Tibetan life. We then continued on to the Bomi Peach Blossom Gorge, traveling along the river valley where expanses of wild peach trees thrive by the water, contrasting beautifully with the snow-capped mountains in the distance to create another expansive and magnificent spring landscape. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Galing Lake, where the water is as clear as a mirror, reflecting the forest and snow-capped peaks—so serene that it feels as if time has stood still. We then arrive at the Lulang International Tourism Town, where a cluster of buildings blending Tibetan and Swiss architectural styles is scattered among the mountains—perhaps you can enjoy a steaming bowl of stone-pot chicken there.

➤ Bohui Peach Blossom Valley 🌸
Located in Bodui Township, Bomi County, the peach blossom grove retains its relatively pristine and untamed appearance, with Tibetan-style villages scattered throughout the canyons, making it a hidden gem of peach blossoms that has yet to be extensively developed.

➤ Bomi Peach Blossom Ditch🌸
With a total length of about 30 kilometers, the Peach Blossom Ditch is known as "China's largest peach blossom ditch". Every spring, the hills are filled with pink peach blossoms and the turquoise blue water of the river, which is a shocking sight. The blossom season here lasts the longest, and is one of the favorite spots for photographers.

➤ Garang Village, Garang Lake, and Garang King's Palace
Garang Village is the earliest place in Tibet where peach blossoms bloom, and is honored as the "First Village of Peach Blossoms in Tibet".The "Peach Blossom". During the flowering season, the lakes, villages and peach blossoms in the mountains reflect each other like a dream. The Garang Palace, standing in the mountains, not only carries the memory of a thousand years of dynasty, but is also a secret high point for flower viewing.The sea of pink flowers is spread out in front of you. The Xuba Fortress is located deep in the canyon, with towers and stone walls, just like a witness of time. This place is a blend of the Tubo, Han and Bengdiao cultures, and has been honored as the "living history of the snowy region". Under the setting sun, the old fort quietly watches over the valley and the village, like an epic poem lost in time. Some people say that standing in front of the fortress, one can feel the whispers of history and romantic imagination, as if one could see the scene of people's life a thousand years ago.

China's National 5A Scenic Area, with high mountain lakes as clear as emerald, is honored as "Little Switzerland". Lhasa's must-stop meridian path! Surrounding the Da Zhao Monastery, both sides are full of handicrafts and thangka stores, so you can stroll around without missing a beat.

Stepping off the beaten path of Lhasa’s main tourist routes, today’s itinerary features an off-the-beaten-path route that few tour groups make a special effort to visit.
First, we arrived at Zaki Temple. Tucked away in the alleys of Lhasa’s Old Town, this small temple may look unremarkable from the outside, but it is revered by local Tibetans and businesspeople as a sacred site dedicated to the God of Wealth. Incense burns here year-round, and the authentic atmosphere of Tibetan life is palpable. Compared to the throngs of visitors at the Jokhang Temple, this place offers a much closer glimpse into the daily faith of the locals. We then headed to Sera Monastery, where we happened to arrive in the afternoon just as the monks were debating. In the courtyard with its red walls and yellow tiles, young lamas sat cross-legged on the ground, clapping their hands in gestures as the sounds of debate rose and fell—a vivid display of Tibetan religious education that outsiders rarely have the opportunity to witness up close.Finally, we headed to the Pabangka Temple, located on a mountainside on the outskirts of the city....This place is hardly marked on standard tourist maps. Climbing the stone steps, the ancient temple is hidden among peach blossoms, its white walls and red roof glimpsed here and there amid a sea of flowers. According to legend, the temple was a place of spiritual practice for Songtsen Gampo, and its history predates even the Potala Palace. Yet, due to its remote location and the fact that few people know of it, it still retains its most pristine tranquility—during the blooming season, the entire mountainside is a blend of pink and white… it’s incredibly romantic.

➤ Zaki Temple
Tucked away in the alleys of Lhasa’s Old Town, this is a well-known temple dedicated to the God of Wealth. Though it attracts a steady stream of worshippers, it is rarely included in tourist itineraries, making it the best place to experience the authentic daily religious life of the Tibetan people.
➤ Sera Monastery
One of Lhasa’s three major Gelugpa monasteries, it is known for its daily afternoon monk debate ceremony, which is a major highlight. Watching the young lamas engage in heated debates up close creates a truly immersive experience.
➤ Pabongka Monastery 🌸
Nestled on a mountainside and said to be the ancient meditation site of Songtsen Gampo, this historic yet little-known monastery is hidden amid a sea of blooming peach blossoms during peak season, making it a rare and tranquil hidden gem on the outskirts of Lhasa.

★Helpful Reminder: Pabangka Temple is located on a mountainside in the suburbs, and visitors must walk up a flight of stone steps to reach it; we recommend wearing lightweight, comfortable shoes. The peach blossom season is subject to weather conditions, so the flower-viewing route may be adjusted based on the actual blooming situation each year.

Travel from sacred lakes to glacier landscapes. Begin your day with a scenic drive to Yamdrok Lake, a turquoise alpine lake often compared to a sapphire. Continue to the magnificent Karola Glacier for an up-close view of the ice world. In the afternoon, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery, known for its unique architecture and cultural significance, before arriving in Shigatse — the gateway to western Tibet.

▶ Yamdrok Lake (Sacred Lake)
One of Tibet’s three sacred lakes, Yamdrok Lake is renowned for its vivid blue color that shifts with the light. It is considered a spiritual lake where locals come to pray for blessings.

▶ Karola Glacier
One of the most accessible glaciers in Tibet, located at around 5,600 meters. Its towering ice walls resemble frozen waterfalls, offering a dramatic and unforgettable sight.

➤ Hakujuji Temple
A historic monastery representing the fusion of three major Buddhist traditions, home to Tibet’s tallest stupa at 42 meters, housing 100,000 Buddha statues. Climb to the top for breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and the ancient town below.

The second largest city in Tibet, at an altitude of about 3,800 meters, it is an important rest stop before heading to Mount Everest.

In the afternoon, we came to Jombo Monastery, the highest temple in the world, standing quietly, facing Mount Everest, bells and wind intertwined, like a dialogue with the sky.We arrived at the Everest Base Camp to see the "Sunshine Mountain" at sunset.As the golden light gradually ignites the summit, the mind is left speechless.Under the starry night sky, the silhouette of Everest and the Milky Way reflect each other, which is a rare time in life to have a heart-to-heart conversation with the top of the world.

➤ Gawula Pass Viewpoint
At an altitude of 5,198 meters, this is one of the most spectacular places to see the Himalayan peaks. The view from here is unparalleled, with five 8,000-meter snow-capped mountains at once. Standing at the pass, the sky and the earth seem to merge, giving you a deep feeling of "the insignificance of mankind and the greatness of nature".

➤ Rongbuk Monastery
The world’s highest monastery, perched on a mountain summit at an altitude of 5,154 meters. More than a sacred place of faith, it offers one of the best vantage points for viewing Mount Everest. At dawn and dusk, the gentle sound of temple bells and fluttering prayer flags seem to suspend time—capturing the profound silence and solemn majesty between heaven and earth.

Located at an altitude of 5,200 meters, it is a must-see for pilgrims and explorers. At dusk, you can enjoy the magnificent "Sunrise Mountain", and at night, you can look up at the starry sky, where the Milky Way is intertwined with Mount Everest, making you feel as if you can touch the heartbeat of the universe. For many people, this is a must-visit holy place and the most profound baptism of the soul.

Early in the morning, enjoy the spectacular view of Mount Everest's "Golden Mountain at Sunrise", then cross the Gyatso La Pass to see the snowy peaks in the distance, and finally walk into the historic Sakya Monastery to experience the richness of Tibetan culture.

It is an important Buddhist shrine in Tibet! The unique gray, red and black walls of the temple are home to 10,000 Buddha statues, thangkas and the giant Ganjur, making it known as the "Second Dunhuang".
