Early in the morning, we set off from Lhasa over the Naganla Pass in Xinjiang(elevation 5,190 meters), with a view of the Nyingchi-Tanggula mountain range. Arrival Namucuo Afterwards, you will see the holy picture of the lake and snowy peaks intertwined with each other.

Namucuo, meaning "Heavenly Lake", is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet and the highest large lake in the world. The surface of the lake is as wide as the sea, blue and clear, with white stupas and streamers fluttering in the wind, reflecting the snowy peaks in the distance, presenting a solemn and sacred scene.

In the afternoon, return to Lhasa along the original route, passing through grassland pastures where yaks and sheep can be seen grazing leisurely. At sunset, return to the "City of Sunshine" and enjoy the leisure and tranquility of Lhasa at dusk.

Notes on the Plateau
  • Please refrain from strenuous activities when you first arrive at the plateau. It is recommended that you do not take a bath or wash your hair for the first two days to avoid catching a cold and affecting your adaptation.
  • Please bring along sunscreen such as sunglasses, lip balm and sunscreen to avoid excessive exposure to UV rays.
  • Altitude sickness is normal and most people will gradually adapt to it within 1-3 days; if you feel unwell, please inform your tour guide immediately.
  • It is advisable to bring your own snacks and dry food to replenish energy and maintain stamina during the long journey.
  • Early cessation of fitness is recommended for those who are habitual gym-goers.
  • Before departure, you can go to the pharmacy to buy medicines suitable for plateau traveling, such as danmus or rhodiola rosea, glucose powder, etc., so as to be prepared for emergencies.
  • Keep good sleep and rest, and avoid staying up late to help your body adapt to the plateau environment faster.
  • Eat a light diet with plenty of vegetables and fruits, and avoid overeating and drinking to avoid aggravating the gastrointestinal and cardiopulmonary burdens.
  • Wear warm layered clothing. There is a big difference in temperature between morning and evening on the plateau, so add or subtract clothing at any time to avoid catching a cold in order to prevent plateau sickness more effectively.
