- Special Requirements for Taiwan Travelers: Travelers aged 65 and above holding a Taiwan Compatriot Permit are required to provide a medical health certificate issued by a hospital. The certificate must include key health indicators such as blood pressure, blood glucose, and heart rate, and clearly state that the traveler is “fit for high-altitude travel.” The document must be stamped by both the attending physician and the hospital. (This requirement currently applies only to travelers holding a Taiwan Compatriot Permit. Travelers from other regions or countries are not subject to this requirement at this time.)
- Travelers Not Recommended to Join: Travelers who are pregnant, have diabetes requiring insulin injections, a history of brain or ophthalmic surgery, lung diseases, or major surgical procedures are strongly advised to avoid high-altitude tours, as such environments may pose potential health risks.
- Guests are advised to refrain from intense physical activity upon arrival and to avoid bathing during the first two days to support proper altitude acclimatization.
